Job summary

Rose Valley Management in the United States is seeking a Leasing Professional to join our team. You will guide potential residents through the move-in process, conduct property tours, answer inquiries, and follow up with prospects via phone and email to drive leases.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, sales skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset. Prior leasing experience and familiarity with Appfolio are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of active leasing experience in multi-family property.
• Strong sales, marketing ideas and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to meet targets and work weekends.
• Knowledge of Appfolio software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills with prospects, residents, vendors, and onsite/corporate team members via email and phone.
• Conducts tours of community, vacant apartments or models and amenities.
• Ensures apartments are ready for show; maintains work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner; awareness of curb appeal.
• Sends thank you cards and follows up with prospects that did not rent.
• Markets and leases apartments to prospective residents and supports property’s marketing plan.
• Documents prospect activity in compliance with Fair Housing Laws.
• Utilizes sales and closing techniques per established guidelines.
• Responsible for meeting monthly leasing goals.
• Accepts rental applications, verifies information, and submits to Community Manager for approval or rejection.
• Prepares move-in packet.
• Maintains up-to-date market knowledge and conducts competitive property shopping.
• Develops and maintains a resident retention program under Community Manager guidance.
• Provide excellent customer service to existing residents.
• Completes special projects as assigned by Community Manager.
• Daily follow up of renewals and tenant delinquency.
• Keeps knowledge of policies and procedures for leasing agent position.
• Handles telephone inquiries, greetings, showings, applications, deposits, and follow-ups.
