Job summary

Rose Valley Management seeks a Leasing Professional to guide potential residents through the move-in process, answer phones, conduct tours, and follow up with prospects via calls and emails. You will work to meet leasing goals while providing friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A current and valid Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year of active leasing experience in multi-family property.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with prospects and residents.
• Energetic, creative, and sales-driven with marketing ideas.
• Ability to meet leasing targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Professional with problem-solving and teamwork mindset.
• Familiarity with Appfolio software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent communication with prospects, residents, vendors, and onsite/corporate team members via email and phone.
• Conducts tours of community, vacant apartments or models and amenities.
• Ensures apartments are ready for show; maintains clean office and work areas; aware of property curb appeal.
• Sends thank you cards and follows up with prospects that did not rent.
• Markets and leases apartments and supports property’s marketing plan.
• Documents prospect activity in compliance with Fair Housing Laws and weekly reports.
• Utilizes sales and closing techniques per established guidelines.
• Responsible for meeting monthly leasing goals.
• Accepts rental applications and verifies them; submits to Community Manager for approval.
• Prepares move-in packets.
• Keeps up-to-date market knowledge and shops competitors.
• Develops and maintains resident retention programs under Community Manager.
• Delivers excellent customer service to existing residents.
• Completes special projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Brings concerns to the Community Manager’s attention.
• Daily follow up of renewals and tenant delinquency.
• Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures for leasing agent position.
