Job summary

Lighthouse-Property-Management is hiring an Assistant Property Manager in Austin, TX. The role focuses on leasing while supporting the Property Manager with daily community operations. When the PM is off site, you help ensure the property runs smoothly and meets goals.

Requirements include 2 years of residential property management experience, strong leasing and customer service skills, and proficiency with Outlook/Word/Excel. Yardi experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2 years of residential property management experience preferred.
• Strong leasing and customer service skills.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel; Yardi experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct tours, record activity, and follow up to close leases.
• Refer prospects to sister communities when appropriate.
• Inspect model units and ensure readiness for showings; secure lease documents.
• Post rent, deposits, and fees; manage income records and notices in Yardi.
• Maintain resident relationships and support retention programs.
• Assist with marketing, renewals, and tracking lease activity.
• Provide administrative support: reports, filings, move ins/outs, and policy compliance.
