Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Leasing Associate to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts at our community in Selma, AL. You will drive tours, process applications, conduct background checks, and prepare all lease and move-in paperwork.

You will inspect apartments for readiness, monitor market conditions, and implement marketing plans to maximize occupancy and revenue. Strong communication and software skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Drive leasing activities: greet prospects, tours, process applications, background checks, prepare lease and move-in package.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure move-in readiness, coordinating maintenance as needed.
• Stay informed about market conditions and develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, employer outreach, and online marketing.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability and leasing activity.
• Ensure show units meet company standards; communicate maintenance needs; prepare the leasing office for daily activity.
• Follow up with prospects/new residents to secure leases or renewals.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters/packages and contacting renewing residents.
• Respond quickly to resident/owner concerns and document requests.
