Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing, marketing and customer service at a Houston community. You will train staff, drive creative marketing, manage resident data and coordinate tours with prospective residents. You’ll handle renewals and move-ins while ensuring policy compliance and a high standard of resident relations.

The role emphasizes leadership, market-driven marketing, and strong communication to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction at the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1+ years of apartment leasing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; CAM or NALP certification preferred.
• Experience in leasing, marketing and staff training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and coaching to leasing staff and support a marketing plan.
• Leasing apartments to prospective residents and guiding applicants through the process.
• Respond to inquiries and schedule property tours with prospective residents.
• Maintain resident files, process renewals and coordinate move-ins.
• Assist with marketing efforts and recruitment of leasing staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
