Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our Texas team. You will engage with prospective residents, presenting the community's features and benefits and guiding applicants through the leasing process to secure leases.

In this role you will screen applicants, manage lease expirations and renewals, and support marketing activities and resident events, all while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
• Sales knowledge and ability to sell products and services.
• Familiarity with apartment management laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents and communicate the value and experience of living at a MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements and screen prospective residents.
• Initiate screening of applicants and manage lease expirations and renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
