Job summary

Barrett & Stokely Inc. in Greenwood, IN, is seeking a Leasing Professional to conduct on-site leasing activities, respond to inquiries, provide apartment tours, and coordinate move-ins.

You will develop on-site marketing strategies, build merchant and neighborhood referral programs, and maintain high shop scores while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and occupancy rules. This role supports the Assistant Property Manager with renewals, rent tracking, and data entry into Entrata, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• US work authorization without sponsorship; valid driver's license preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities at the property, respond to inquiries, provide tours, follow-up with prospects, and coordinate move-ins.
• Recommend strategies and programs for on-site marketing activity.
• Develop and monitor merchant/neighborhood referral programs for move-in packets, newsletters, and resident retention.
• Maintain e-shop, phone shop, and physical shop scores of 85%+.
• Inspect apartments with new residents at move-in and complete required paperwork.
• Support Assistant Property Manager with renewals, lease expirations, and notices to vacate.
• Collect and report receipt of application fees, security deposits, rents and other fees.
• Enter prospect and resident data into Entrata in a timely manner.
• Comply with Fair Housing regulations, local/state regulations, and occupancy standards.
