Redwood Communities is seeking a Leasing Consultant to deliver excellent customer service to current and prospective residents while ensuring HUD and Fair Housing compliance. You will assist with leasing, marketing, and administrative operations for the community in Akron.

Responsibilities include greeting and touring prospects, completing lease paperwork, and maintaining records in Yardi/RealPage/Onesite. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this role.

  • Ensure leasing activities comply with HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing guidelines.
  • Assist applicants with HUD rental applications and required forms (e.g., 50059, EIV).
  • Verify income, assets, and household composition for eligibility and recertification.
  • Support annual and interim recertifications and rent adjustments.
  • Provide responsive resident service for maintenance requests and lease questions.
