Job summary

Golub & Company LLC seeks a Leasing Consultant for River City Apartments, a 448-unit property in the South Loop of Chicago. You will conduct tours, process applications, and prepare leases while following regulatory guidelines, using leasing software and CRM systems.Weekend hours are required and commissions may apply.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of sales experience, strong closing skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales-related experience.
• Prior apartment leasing experience with strong closing skills preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Illinois leasing agent license.
• Strong written and verbal communication and administrative acumen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities, tours, applications, and leases per regulations.
• Enter lease data into leasing software and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and manage lease files.
• Monitor CRM and follow up on leads and inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects.
• Monitor competitors’ rental rates and prepare market surveys.
• Assist in move-in / move-out processes.
• Receive service requests and manage work orders.
• Conduct regular facility walk-throughs and report concerns.

We are currently seeking a Leasing Consultant to conduct all aspects of leasing activities at River City Apartments, a 448-unit portfolio in the heart of the South Loop neighborhood.Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Conducts leasing activities, including but not limited to touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases while following all regulatory guidelines.
• Enters new lease information into leasing software and ensures accuracy.
• Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files.
• Monitors the CRM system and consistently follows-up on prospective leads and existing resident inquiries.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
• Monitors and evaluates competitors’ rental rates, prepares weekly market surveys, and recommends rental rate changes.
• Assists in move-in / move-out process.
• Receives resident service requests and administers building work order system.
• Conducts regular walk-throughs of facility and reports concerns to building maintenance.
• Maintains schedules for amenity spaces.
• Coordinates resident events and sends out communication.

Qualified candidates will be self-starters with at least 2 years of sales-related experience.Previous apartment leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and administrative acumen. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain current Illinois leasing agent license. Regular weekend hours will be required.The hourly rate for this position ranges between $22-23.17 and is based on level of experience. This position is also eligible for commissions.
