Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional, customer service-focused Leasing Consultant for our Kings Landing apartment community!

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for implementing the leasing process for apartments.

Note: This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

1. Promptly answer telephone and email inquiries to schedule appointments for community tours.
2. Greet prospective residents, conduct tours of models/vacant units, demonstrate features and amenities, explain occupancy terms, and provide local area information.
3. Close sales by obtaining holding deposits and applications, and managing waitlists if applicable.
4. Follow up with prospective residents who have not yet leased to continue the sales process.
5. Determine and certify the eligibility of prospective residents following government regulations and company procedures.
6. Process applications, prepare move-in paperwork, and conduct move-ins with new residents.
7. Assist the Property Manager with advertising and promotional activities to attract new residents and retain current ones.
8. Conduct regular marketing surveys to monitor competitors’ activities and optimize our marketing strategies.
9. Make marketing recommendations based on survey analyses.
10. Complete and submit reports promptly to the relevant personnel.
11. Ensure all activities comply with HUD regulations (if applicable) and Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant education, training, or experience.
2. Previous experience in a customer service role.
3. Valid driver’s license for the state of residence.
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to read and understand English.
