Leasing Consultant-Part Time (Raleigh, North Carolina)

Position Overview

Responsible for leasing apartments, handling prospective resident inquiries, performing clerical duties, and supporting office staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lease apartments at optimal rent levels, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  2. Maintain courteous and helpful interactions with residents and prospects.
  3. Respond promptly to resident requests and resolve issues effectively.
  4. Explain company and community policies to residents and prospects.
  5. Accurately complete lease documents and maintain resident files per company policies.
  6. Enter and update resident data in the system.
  7. Develop and support resident retention and renewal programs.
  8. Inspect apartments before move-in to ensure readiness.
  9. Assist in leasing activities and resident relations.
  10. Stay informed about competitive rent levels, amenities, and community statistics.
  11. Assist with market surveys and reporting.
  12. Greet new residents and facilitate move-in processes.
  13. Qualify potential residents and show available units.
  14. Coordinate community events and participate in company training for Leasing Specialist certification.
  15. Travel may be required; limited vehicle use may be necessary.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional weekend hours.
