Job summary

Redwood Communities is seeking a Leasing Consultant to deliver excellent customer service to current and prospective residents at a Tacoma community. You will ensure HUD and Fair Housing compliance while handling leasing, marketing, and administrative tasks.

The role runs Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with hourly pay of $23–$24. Responsibilities include tours, paperwork, records in Yardi/RealPage/Onesite, and coordination of outreach to maximize occupancy.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily housing or HUD property management preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, Fair Housing, and EIV requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
• Background check clearance and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet, qualify, and tour prospective residents and present units.
• Complete leasing paperwork and assist with signings.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain records in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or Onesite).
• Assist in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the property.
• Handle rent payments and income processing per HUD policy.
• Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and renewals.
