Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on leasing duties, resident relations, and community marketing, with strong emphasis on customer service and sales.

Expect in-person responsibilities and daily interaction with residents and prospects in a dynamic property management environment. You'll handle paperwork, coordinate maintenance and move-ins, and contribute to an exceptional resident experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in customer service
• 1+ year leasing or sales experience
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn software systems
• Familiarity with LIHTC, MFTE, Section 8 preferred
• Prior property management experience is a plus
• NALP Certification or other NAAEI credential is a plus
• Yardi/CRM experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Leasing: generates lease paperwork, focuses on sales and closing ratios; trains leasing team; greets residents and conducts property tours; maintains lease closings.
• Resident Relations: fosters community, maintains positive relations, inspects property, reports maintenance needs, monitors vacancies.
• Marketing: manages ads on Craigslist and listing services; tracks local market conditions and trends; suggests improvements for resident satisfaction.
• Administrative: answers calls and emails promptly; updates reports daily; files paperwork; proofs leases; handles move-ins/outs and security deposits.
• General: performs other duties as assigned by managers.
