Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our military team at Fort Knox, KY. You will serve as the primary contact for prospective residents, conduct tours, explain pricing and terms, and guide applicants through the move-in process.

You will manage applications, verify documentation, and maintain lease files while upholding Fair Housing laws and company policies. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required; bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• 1-2 years of sales, customer service, or hospitality related experience.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks and work under pressure.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Every employee must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• REAL ID compliant driver's license / ID is required to access the federal facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours (in-person, virtual, and self-guided), highlighting community features, amenities, and available homes.
• Assess prospect needs and recommend appropriate floor plans and options.
• Explain pricing, availability, lease terms, specials, and application requirements.
• Guide prospects through the application, waitlist, and move-in process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain Show Ready Homes responsible for ensuring ‘Rent Ready’ property (interior and exterior) is presentable at all times with particular attention to the five (5) senses.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of leasing office, tour routes, and model units.
• Uphold all Fair Housing laws, ADA regulations, company policies, and professionalism standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain compliance and improve performance.
