Job summary

Golub & Company, a Chicago-based real estate leader, seeks an on-site Leasing Associate to join its residential operations. You will tour prospects, process applications, prepare leases, and enter lease data into leasing software, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor the CRM, follow up on leads, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Self-starters with at least 2 years of sales-related experience.
• Previous apartment leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills preferred.
• Candidate must have current Illinois leasing agent license.

Responsibilities

• Tour prospective residents and process lease applications.
• Enter new lease information into leasing software accurately.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage lease files.
• Monitor the CRM system and follow up on leads and inquiries.
• Provide high-quality customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
• Monitor and evaluate competitors’ rental rates; prepare weekly market surveys; suggest rate changes.
• Assist in move-in/move-out processes.
• Receive resident service requests and administer the building work order system.
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and report maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate resident events and send communications.

Job description

• Conducts leasing activities, including but not limited to touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases while following all regulatory guidelines
• Enters new lease information into leasing software and ensures accuracy
• Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files
• Monitors the CRM system and consistently follows-up on prospective leads and existing resident inquiries
• Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
• Monitors and evaluates competitors’ rental rates, prepares weekly market surveys, and recommends rental rate changes
• Assists in move-in / move-out process
• Receives resident service requests and administers building work order system
• Conducts regular walk-throughs of facility and reports concerns to building maintenance
• Maintains schedules for amenity spaces
• Coordinates resident events and sends out communication

Qualified candidates will be self-starters with at least 2 years of sales-related experience. Previous apartment leasing experience with proven, exceptional closing skills preferred. Candidates must have current Illinois leasing agent license. Regular weekend hours will be required. The hourly rate for this position will be $19-$20 per hour and will be eligible for commissions.
