Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• Fair Housing Certification must be completed within 14 days of hire.
• CAM or RAM designation is highly recommended for this position.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Shows and leases apartments to prospective residents and supports the community's marketing plan.
• Assists applicants with rental applications and collects security deposits.
• Ensures model and target apartments are ready for show and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
• Maintains knowledge of lease terms, rates, and community policies; uses effective sales techniques.
• Maintains contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational material.
• Develops and maintains a resident retention program under the Community Manager.
