Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive leasing targets and deliver exceptional resident experiences at our Dayton community. You’ll greet prospects, conduct tours, and guide applicants through the lease process while coordinating with the Property Manager.

The role is full-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Property Manager. You’ll leverage Entrata/OneSite/RealPage and Excel skills to manage leads, close deals, and support marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain licenses required by jurisdictions including PA, IL, NJ and IA.
• Experience in leasing and sales preferred; multifamily or student housing is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Entrata, OneSite, or RealPage preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, sorting, and filtering) are a plus.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to leasing targets and team goals.
• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents.
• Provide tours highlighting property features and tailoring to prospect needs.
• Close leases by addressing objections and securing commitments.
• Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, or in person within 24 hours.
• Enter and maintain lead information in Entrata and follow up with prospects.
• Develop understanding of site leasing trends, traffic patterns, and availability to guide leasing decisions.
• Ensure office, model units, clubhouse, and common areas are well maintained and report issues.
• Participate in community marketing, outreach, and resident event planning.
• Guide prospects through application, screening, and lease execution.
• Collect move-in related fees and ensure paperwork and funds are correctly handled.
• Provide exceptional resident service and process service requests.
• Maintain and communicate waitlist updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
