Job summary

Crawford Hoying is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartment homes and maintain high occupancy at an assigned community. You will respond to rental inquiries using proven sales techniques and approved marketing material.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, daily data entry, and collaboration with the Community Manager on marketing and resident satisfaction. Onsite hours and a structured schedule are required, with a compensation package that includes hourly pay plus

Qualifications

• Experience working in a sales or customer service environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and a dedication to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of or ability to learn property management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to develop a rapport with people.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present available apartment homes, communicating features and benefits of the community.
• Enter guest cards and applicants into the computer system on the same day; assist with leases and renewal applications.
• Monitor local market conditions and trends; contribute ideas to the Community Manager for marketing and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional, friendly leasing office environment and a neat appearance per uniform requirements.
• Complete opening/closing duties on weekends as directed; inspect property and report maintenance needs.
