Job summary

TLC Management Co. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Leasing Consultant to guide potential residents through the leasing process, provide exceptional customer service, and build relationships with current residents.

This role pays $18 to $20 per hour, with a quarterly bonus opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package. You will conduct tours, explain leasing terms, process applications, and support smooth move-ins with the property management team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents and assist them, including with tours of available units and community amenities.
• Clearly and accurately explain leasing terms, policies, and procedures.
• Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Keep your knowledge of community availability, pricing, and promotions up to date.
• Respond to resident inquiries as quickly as possible and address any leasing-related issues.
• Work with the property management team to ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident information.
• Participate in marketing and outreach activities to attract new residents.
