Job summary

TLC Management Co. in Mundelein, IL is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents through tours and the leasing process, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong resident relationships.

You will explain lease terms, process applications, run background and credit checks, and collaborate with the team to reach occupancy goals while representing our property with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours of available units and community amenities.
• Explain leasing terms, policies, and procedures clearly and accurately.
• Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community features, pricing, and availability.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with the management team to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information.
• Participate in community events and marketing efforts to attract new residents.
