Job summary

Carlisle Residential Properties, Inc is seeking a personable Leasing Associate to welcome residents and prospects, show units, and handle leasing paperwork in person. You will answer calls/emails, process applications, explain leases, and help coordinate resident events, while upholding Fair Housing standards and contributing to marketing efforts.

Strong customer service, organization, and teamwork are essential; weekend availability is a plus, and housing discounts are offered to qualifying

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in apartment leasing or related customer service/sales.
• Experience with lease-up properties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments and amenities to prospects by appointment or walk-ins.
• Greet residents, answer calls and emails, and complete leasing paperwork.
• Process applications and explain lease agreements and addenda.
• Monitor traffic trends, support marketing activities, and coordinate events.
• Maintain Fair Housing standards and work well in a team.

Job description

Summary of Position:

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects and visitors to the community.
• Show apartments and amenities to future residents by appointment or walk ins.
• Assist residents, answer the telephone, and respond to emails in a timely manner.
• Complete all leasing paperwork and ensure resident file is complete.
• Compile and process applications.
• Explain lease agreements and all appropriate addenda to new residents.
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends and market surveys.
• Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
• Assist with marketing activities within the community and local market.
• Plan and coordinate resident events.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience in apartment leasing role preferred, or equivalent customer service and sales experience
• Experience with lease-up properties a plus

This position requires some weekends and holiday scheduling.
