Job summary

Carlisle Residential is seeking an energetic, outgoing Leasing Consultant to join The Wainwright Downtown and Botetourt Apartments in Norfolk, VA. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for residents, prospects and visitors, show apartments by appointment or walk-ins, and handle leasing paperwork.

The role requires excellent communication, strong customer service, reliable transportation, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years' experience in apartment leasing or equivalent customer service and sales.
• Experience with lease-up properties is a plus.
• Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for residents, prospects and visitors to the community.
• Show apartments and amenities to future residents by appointment or walk ins.
• Assist residents, answer the telephone, and respond to emails in a timely manner.
• Complete all leasing paperwork and ensure resident file is complete.
• Compile and process applications.
• Explain lease agreements and all appropriate addenda to new residents.
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends and market surveys.
• Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
• Assist with marketing activities within the community and local market.
• Plan and coordinate resident events.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
