Barrington Parc is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our apartment community team. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, and handle inquiries across phone, email, and walk-ins. You will assist with leasing, document completion, and maintain up-to-date property information.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide engaging tours of the property.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Assist with leasing apartments and complete all necessary documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of availability, pricing, and lease terms.
• Build relationships with residents to support retention and satisfaction.
• Support marketing efforts and participate in resident events.
• Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean and welcoming.
• Use property management software to manage leads, applications, and communications.
• Inspect available units and communicate service needs to management.
• Describe lease terms including length, rates, and conditions/exclusions.
• Provide post-lease services such as drafting termination notices or initiating legal action for unpaid rent.
• Verify application information and references.
• Prepare lease agreements in accordance with state laws and company policies.
• Process background checks, proof of income, rental history, and reference letters.
• Update and maintain records in the property management system.
• Ensure prompt resolution of tenant maintenance complaints.
