Job summary

Banner Property Management is seeking a personable, motivated part-time Leasing Consultant to be the welcoming face of our 120-unit community in Vernon Hills, IL.

You’ll lead property tours, respond to inquiries, guide prospects through the leasing process, and support current residents, including renewal tracking and day-to-day operations such as rent collection and insurance/pet policy compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, positive, and adaptable attitude.
• Leasing or property management experience is a plus—Yardi/CRM experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person!
• Saturday availability required - 10 am to 1 pm
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed for vacation or absence coverage
• Computer savvy.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective residents through tours, follow-ups, and personalized communication
• Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection
• Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives, as well as community events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property features, availability, and local market trends
• Provide exceptional customer service that strengthens resident satisfaction and retention

LEASING CONSULTANT

Part Time GT 28 Part-Time Emerald Pointe, Vernon Hills, IL, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Schedule:Part-Time, 28 hours/week; Weekend availability required

Hourly Rate:$18.00 - $19.00, based on experience

Incentives: Commissions on new leases
