Job summary

Banner Property Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to help launch our new 334-unit luxury community in Wheaton, IL. You will lead property tours, engage with prospective residents, and guide applicants through the leasing journey from first contact to move-in.

The role requires lease-up experience, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach. Weekend availability and flexibility for shift coverage are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality at a lease-up community.
• Lease-up experience required; property management experience a plus—Yardi experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person!
• Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Drive traffic and convert leads during initial lease-up.
• Conduct tours and follow-ups with prospective residents.
• Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection.
• Support marketing, social media initiatives, and community events.
• Stay informed on property features, availability and local market trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to boost resident satisfaction and retention.

Schedule:Full-time; 5 Days a week; Weekend availability required

• Engage with prospective residents through tours, follow-ups, and personalized communication
• Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection
• Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives, as well as community events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property features, availability, and local market trends
• Provide exceptional customer service that strengthens resident satisfaction and retention
