Job summary

Excelsior Communities is seeking a leasing consultant to support two apartment complexes within a short commute. You will respond to leads, schedule tours, process applications, and generate leases while addressing resident issues and coordinating with maintenance.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced property management environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to property leads in a timely manner.
• Schedule tours of the property.

Excelsior Communities is a property management company that has been operating in Rochester, NY since 2016. This position requires time at 2 of our apartment complexes, which is a 10 minute commute.

Daily duties include:

• Responding to leads
• Scheduling tours of the property
• Accepting and processing applications
• Generating resident leases
• Addressing current resident issues
• Submitting work orders to maintenance
• Assist the property management team with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
• Prepare and distribute notices, newsletters, and other communications to tenants.
• Assist with the collection and processing of rent payments, ensuring accurate and timely recording.

Experience:

• Leasing or Sales experience preferred.
• Great customer service skills required.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
