Base pay range

$22.31/hr - $24.05/hr

As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role at our Valencia Community in San Ramon by facilitating the leasing process for prospective residents. Your primary objective will be to ensure high occupancy rates by effectively marketing available units and providing exceptional customer service. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success and profitability of the properties you represent.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours and highlight available units to prospective residents.
  • Ensuring that curb appeal is well-maintained for potential and current residents.
  • Assist in the leasing process by preparing lease agreements and ensuring compliance with company policies and local and state laws.
  • Maintain relationships with current residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assists residents with service requests, maintenance emergencies and contact proper personnel as needed.
  • Scheduling Pre-Move in and out inspections.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract potential residents and increase property visibility.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the community is well-maintained and meets resident expectations.

Skills

The required skills of effective communication and interpersonal abilities will be utilized daily as you interact with current and potential residents to address their needs. Your sales experience will come into play when marketing properties and converting inquiries into leases. Additionally, any preferred experience in the real estate industry will provide you with valuable insights into market trends and resident expectations. Overall, your skills will be essential in creating a positive leasing experience that fosters resident satisfaction and retention.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with property management software systems, Yardi, Voyager, and CRM.

Normal work schedule includes weekend. Competitive hourly rate, leasing bonuses, housing discount available and excellent benefits.
