Job Description

The Leasing Consultant is the community's sales representative responsible for interacting with residents (potential and existing) on behalf of FPI. Duties include assisting with property viewings/tours, providing accurate information about apartments, processing rental applications, securing lease agreements from qualified individuals, and assisting with lease renewals. All duties must be conducted in accordance with Fair Housing Laws and company policies, supporting the overall goal of meeting client expectations based on the financial operating budget and management agreement.

• Driving a site-owned golf cart is required; a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License is necessary.

Pay: $17 - $18 / Hour

Responsibilities

1. Client Relations: Carry out owner philosophies and ensure client objectives are met.
2. Communication: Maintain professional communication with applicants, residents, vendors, and guests.
3. Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy, assist with marketing, ensure online listings are updated, promote resident retention, and ensure move-in orientations are completed.
4. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain resident files, ensure documentation integrity, and assist with reports.
5. Risk Management: Ensure compliance, report incidents, and react professionally to emergencies.
6. Facility Maintenance: Report and follow up on maintenance needs, monitor physical assets.
7. Other duties: Enforce community rules, adhere to policies, maintain professional appearance, complete training, and perform additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related fields like hospitality or sales.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, and internet.
