Job Description
The Leasing Consultant is the community's sales representative, responsible for interacting with residents (potential and existing) on behalf of FPI. They assist with property viewings/tours, provide accurate information about each apartment home, process rental applications, secure lease agreements from qualified persons, and assist with lease renewals as needed. The Leasing Consultant conducts all duties in accordance with Fair Housing Laws and Company policies, supporting the overall goal of meeting Client expectations based on the financial operating budget and management agreement.

Pay: $17 - $18 / Hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner to ensure FPI meets Client objectives and expectations.
- Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
- Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels, exhibit professional leasing techniques, assist with market surveys and analysis, support advertising and marketing strategies, and ensure online marketing sources are updated daily. Promote positive resident/management relations, assist with resident retention, and ensure move-in orientations are consistently completed.
- Reporting and Document Management: Maintain resident files and documents in accordance with FPI procedures, ensuring confidentiality and organization. Assist with periodic reporting as needed.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with risk management procedures, report injuries or property damage promptly, and react professionally in emergencies.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with maintenance reporting, monitor the physical asset, follow up on requests, and ensure timely completion.
- Other Duties: Enforce community rules, comply with laws and policies, maintain a professional appearance, meet training requirements, and perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
