TRG Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Town Vineland in Orlando, FL 32821. You will work with the property management team to guide prospective residents from inquiry to move-in, presenting units and processing applications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 2 years in customer service or hospitality; leasing experience is a plus. This on-site role offers a base salary with a performance bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, conventional or multifamily real estate.
• Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Strong customer service orientation and presentation abilities.
• MS Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
• Accompany prospects to model apartments to explain size, layout, amenities, and lease terms.
• Fill out lease forms or agreements and collect security deposits.
• Periodically inspect the property and coordinate essential maintenance.
• Compile a list of available rental units and identify prospects.
• From start to finish, manage the leasing/renewal process.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong resident relations.
• Answer calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
• Request applications and deposits per policy and Fair Housing rules.
• Process applications, run credit checks, and submit for approval to Community Manager.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the scheduled date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close and direct to sister communities.
• Monitor local market trends and update property comparables.

Job Description

We’re actively seeking a Leasing Consultant for Town Vineland, Orlando 32821. This role will collaborate directly with the property management team to provide residents with great service. To earn potential tenants' commitment, it is essential to pay attention to their needs, provide solutions, and support them throughout the leasing process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
• Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size and layout, available amenities and services, and lease terms.
• Fills out the lease form or agreement and collects the security deposit.
• Periodically inspects the state of the property and makes arrangements for essential maintenance.
• Compiles a list of available rental units.
• Identifies potential prospects.
• From start to finish, managing the leasing/renewal process.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build great working connections with our residents.
• Answers incoming calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
• Request that the prospect fill out an application and make a deposit following the company's policies and Fair Housing regulations.
• Process applications for approvals and update the availability report. (For example, a credit check, rental history, and so on.) Submit completed applications for approval to the Community Manager. Follow up with the candidate to provide status.
• Ascertain that the apartment is ready for the resident to move in on the scheduled move-in date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close and try to close the business. If you are unable to assist a prospect, direct them to a sister community that can satisfy their needs.
• Monitoring local market trends and updating property comparables to keep an eye on what our competitors are doing.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, Conventional or multifamily real estate.
• Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• It is vital to have a strong customer service orientation and presenting abilities.
• Working experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working as a concierge, guest services representative, front desk attendant, or reservations agent in the hotel or hospitality industry is a bonus.
• Onesite experience a plus.
