TRG Management Company is seeking a leasing professional to manage the end-to-end rental process for a diverse portfolio. You will interview prospects, explain terms, guide tours, and coordinate applications with attention to Fair Housing standards.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, basic MS Office skills, and a willingness to work in a dynamic property management environment. This full-time role offers stability and opportunities for growth within TRG Management.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or multifamily real estate.
• Previous leasing experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service orientation and presentation abilities.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants and explain lease terms.
• Accompany prospects to model apartments and explain amenities.
• Process applications, credit checks, and move-in readiness.
• Maintain accurate availability and conduct market comparisons.
• Provide excellent resident service and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Close deals and route unresolved leads to sister communities if needed.
• Ensure move-in dates are ready and coordinate switchover.

Job Description

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
• Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size and layout, available amenities and services, and lease terms.
• Fills out the lease form or agreement and collects the security deposit.
• Periodically inspects the state of the property and makes arrangements for essential maintenance.
• Compiles a list of available rental units.
• Identifies potential prospects.
• From start to finish, managing the leasing/renewal process.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build great working connections with our residents.
• Answers incoming calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
• Request that the prospect fill out an application and make a deposit following the company's policies and Fair Housing regulations.
• Process applications for approvals and update the availability report. (For example, a credit check, rental history, and so on.) Submit completed applications for approval to the Property Manager. Follow up with the candidate to provide status.
• Ascertain that the apartment is ready for the resident to move in on the scheduled move-in date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close and try to close the business. If you are unable to assist a prospect, direct them to a sister community that can satisfy their needs.
• Monitoring local market trends and updating property comparable to keep an eye on what our competitors are doing.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, Conventional or multifamily real estate.
• Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• It is vital to have a strong customer service orientation and presenting abilities.
• Working experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working as a concierge, guest services representative, front desk attendant, or reservations agent in the hotel or hospitality industry is a bonus.
• Onesite experience a plus.
