Job summary

Dietz Property Group in New Hudson, MI is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our residential property management team. You will engage with prospective residents, present community features, and guide applicants through the leasing process with friendly, professional service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in sales or face-to-face customer service, are comfortable with a flexible schedule including Saturdays, and enjoy creating a welcoming community atmosphere at our premier

Qualifications

• 1 year sales or face-to-face customer service experience required
• Willing to work Saturdays
• Previous property management experience not required
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Make and take phone calls with prospective residents, describing the community's features and benefits
• Conduct sales presentations and tours to identify customer needs
• Prepare screenings and paperwork for applicants and residents
• Create and participate in resident social activities
• Provide professional service to prospective residents, current residents, team members and vendors

Dietz Property Group is seeking a sales professional to become a Full-time Leasing Consultant (40 hours per week) with us at one of our premier apartment communities in the New Hudson, MI area. You must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a sales or face-to-face customer service role and be able to perform the necessary requirements outlined below to be considered for this position.

DUTIES:

The specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Make and take phone calls with prospective customers and residents, describing the community's features, benefits and value
• Perform sales presentations and tours to prospective customers -- must be able to identify and sell to the customer's needs
• Accurately prepare/process required screenings and paperwork for applicants, new residents and residents renewing their lease
• Create and participate in resident social activities
• Provide quality, professional service to prospective residents, current residents, team members and vendors
• And other various required duties related to the position

IDEAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

• Ability to work flexible schedule. Candidates must be willing to work Saturdays
• Previous property management experience is not required

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time Leasing Consultant position for which the hours vary depending on the property needs but mostly is an M-F 9 to 6.
