Job Description: Leasing Consultant at Paradise Island Apartments

Fogelman, a nationally recognized leader in the multi-family industry, is seeking a professional and outgoing Leasing Consultant for Paradise Island Apartments in South Jacksonville, FL. Ideal candidates will have leasing or sales experience, exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy hosting resident events. Experience with Yardi, CRM, and Yieldstar is a plus.

Summary

The Leasing Consultant will conduct tours, complete leasing processes, implement marketing strategies, and coordinate resident events, all while maintaining positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Interview prospective residents, assess needs and qualifications.
2. Guide prospects through model apartments, explaining layouts, amenities, and lease terms.
3. Follow up consistently with prospects.
4. Process applications and lease renewals in compliance with policies.
5. Schedule move-ins and complete lease paperwork.
6. Inspect move-in readiness and follow up with new residents.
7. Maintain property condition and coordinate repairs.
8. Plan and host resident events.
9. Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
10. Assist with marketing efforts, including surveys and resident notices.
11. Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing regulations.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred: One year of leasing experience.
• Related experience or training, or equivalent education.
• Experience with virtual and in-person tours preferred.
• Knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
• Marketing skills, including social media and resident events, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance may be required depending on the property.

Environmental and Physical Demands

This role involves walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.

• Good sensory skills and communication abilities.
• Work may be indoors or outdoors with moderate noise levels.
