The Leasing Consultant reports to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, financial stability, and good physical condition.

  1. Assist with leasing activities to maintain high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
  2. Maintain accurate records of availability compatible with lease renewal reports.
  3. Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for approval.
  4. Manage property licenses and renewals by coordinating with legal counsel and city authorities.
  5. Assist with the check-out process, ensuring compliance with final account statements, accepting keys, and inspecting vacated units.
  6. Ensure accurate and efficient lease signing and resident check-ins.
  7. Respond promptly to resident concerns or complaints, ensuring accuracy and fostering good relations; report to the General Manager.
  8. Prepare weekly reports on property performance as needed.
  9. Support the development and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies.
  10. Assist in resident retention programs.
  11. Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, staff, and vendors.
  12. Answer phones as needed and perform general administrative duties such as filing and typing.
  13. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain, valid driver’s license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Entrata (preferred).
  14. Ability to operate office equipment, handle numerical data accurately, and follow all applicable laws and deadlines.
  15. Demonstrate a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude with excellent customer service skills and effective communication, especially in a fast-paced environment.
