Job summary

Role Description

The Leasing Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Fayetteville, NC. This position is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and presenting apartment features and community amenities. Day-to-day tasks include answering inquiries, processing applications, preparing and executing lease documents, and ensuring accurate lease administration. The Leasing Consultant helps drive resident retention by providing responsive customer service, addressing questions and concerns, and supporting renewal efforts. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current availability, pricing, and promotions, and collaborating with the property management team to meet occupancy and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of leases and lease administration, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining leasing documentation.
• Experience in resident retention and customer service, with a focus on building positive relationships and supporting renewals.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with prospective and current residents, as well as collaborating with onsite team members.
• Prior leasing or property management experience in multi-family housing is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Fayetteville, NC, with flexible availability including some evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficiency with basic office software and property management systems; ability to learn new platforms quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in real estate or property management are a plus.
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work, with a commitment to providing an excellent rental experience.
