Primary Responsibilities

for the Leasing Consultant Providing top quality customer service to prospective and current residentsConducting onsite community tours and leasing apartments to prospective residentsWorking with residents on lease renewalsSupporting marketing efforts promoting the community to prospective and renewing residents including social media open house offsite and community eventsPreparing and assisting with all leasing documentation with strict adherence to all applicable regulations and policiesMaintaining a working knowledge of rent and pricing information concessions vacancies availability and community offeringsCollecting security deposits rent and other funds as neededWorking closely with onsite management and maintenance teams to provide residents with top quality serviceUnderstanding and complying with all Fair Housing laws and standardsPerforming regular inspections of tour routes models and vacant apartments on a regular basis and working with onsite team to address any issues that ariseParticipating in training seminars

What Were Looking for in a Leasing Consultant Candidate

Valid drivers license requiredMust be able to read and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writingHigh school diploma or GED equivalentA minimum of one year sales or leasing consultant experienceCustomer service hospitality or product sales backgroundExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsProficiency in working in various digital platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and various industry related software platformsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to maintain a can do attitude to ensure the propertys successFlexibility to work required schedule including weekendsSuccessful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employment
