Pantzer seeks a Leasing Consultant for The Point at Dunn Loring, a Class A property with 628 units near the Dunn Loring Metro Station. You will conduct tours, lease apartments, assist with renewals, and support marketing efforts to attract and retain residents.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of sales or leasing experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and organizational skills. The role requires weekend availability and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide top quality customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Conduct onsite tours and lease apartments to prospective residents.
• Assist with lease renewals.
• Support marketing efforts including social media, open houses, and community events.
• Prepare leasing documentation with adherence to regulations and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of rent, pricing, concessions, vacancies, and amenities.
• Collect security deposits, rent, and other funds.
• Collaborate with onsite management and maintenance teams to deliver quality service.
• Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws.
• Inspect tour routes, models, and vacant apartments regularly and address issues.
• Participate in training seminars.

Leasing Consultant - The Point at Dunn Loring

Salary Range:

$21-$23 based on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday:

8:45 AM-6:00 PM

Saturday:

8:45 AM-5:00 PM

Sunday:

11:45 AM-5:00 PM

Days Off:

Two weekdays

Resident Events:

1-2 per month, with occasional extended hours until 8:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities for the Leasing Consultant:

• Providing top quality customer service to prospective and current residents
• Conducting onsite community tours and leasing apartments to prospective residents
• Working with residents on lease renewals
• Supporting marketing efforts promoting the community to prospective and renewing residents including social media, open house, offsite, and community events
• Preparing and assisting with all leasing documentation with strict adherence to all applicable regulations and policies
• Maintaining a working knowledge of rent and pricing information, concessions, vacancies, availability, and community offerings
• Collecting security deposits, rent and other funds as needed
• Working closely with onsite management and maintenance teams to provide residents with top quality service
• Understanding and complying with all Fair Housing laws and standards
• Performing regular inspections of tour routes, models, and vacant apartments on a regular basis and working with onsite team to address any issues that arise
• Participating in training seminars

What We're Looking for in a Leasing Consultant Candidate:

• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of one-year sales or leasing consultant experience
• Customer service, hospitality, or product sales background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in working in various digital platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and various industry-related software platforms
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain a "can do" attitude to ensure the property's success
• Flexibility to work required schedule including weekends
• Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employment
