Job description

Job Title: Leasing Consultant for The Broadview Apartments, Baltimore, MD

TREK is seeking a Leasing Consultant for The Broadview Apartments in Baltimore, MD. This role supports TREK’s mission to Create Value, Strengthen Communities, and Enhance Lives, embodying the three tenants of our Hospitality Covenant: kindness, care, and support for each other's goals.

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for engaging with residents and prospects, showing and leasing apartments, managing move-in/move-out processes, lease renewals, marketing, social media, and administrative support to the Community Manager. The role ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions:
  1. Promote the Hospitality Covenant by encouraging residents to practice its three core principles.
  2. Greet prospective residents warmly and complete guest cards per company procedures.
  3. Conduct property tours, showcase models, and communicate features tailored to prospect needs.
  4. Pre-qualify applicants, process rental applications, and submit for management approval.
  5. Secure deposits and ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations.
  6. Maintain up-to-date availability reports and leasing records.
  7. Demonstrate community and apartment features, closing sales effectively.
  8. Follow up with prospects and manage lease renewals within 90 days of expiration.
  9. Foster tenant retention and develop resident relationships through community engagement.
  10. Coordinate move-in inspections, respond to resident requests, and contribute to community appearance.
  11. Conduct market surveys and perform clerical duties such as mailing, filing, and invoice coding.
Education & Experience:
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of sales/leasing experience, residential preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry software such as RealPage is a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Occasional movement within the office and property.
  • Constant use of computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to work within a commutable radius of the property.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
