Position Overview

TREK is seeking a Leasing Consultant for The Broadview Apartments in Baltimore, MD. The role involves showing and leasing apartments, managing lease renewals, marketing, and administrative support, all while embodying TREK's mission and Hospitality Covenant principles.

Essential Functions

• Promote the Hospitality Covenant and enhance residents' quality of life.
• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase apartment models.
• Pre-qualify applicants, process applications, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Maintain leasing records and update availability reports.
• Close sales by communicating features and benefits tailored to prospects.
• Follow up with prospects and manage lease renewals proactively.
• Build relationships with residents, support community events, and address concerns.
• Handle rental payments, answer inquiries, and contribute to community curb appeal.
• Perform clerical duties, manage resident notices, and coordinate staff records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media marketing.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of leasing or sales experience, residential preferred.
• Knowledge of industry software such as RealPage is a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Occasional movement within the office, constant use of computers and office machinery.
• Must be within a commutable distance to the property.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, employer-paid disability and life insurance, 401k with employer contribution, and EAP.
