Job summary

University Partners in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily property operations, leasing performance, and resident services. You will assist with staff supervision, leasing approvals, marketing execution, and financial coordination while preparing to lead the community in the Community Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in supervising and training the leasing team to meet standards.
• Review and approve lease applications per criteria; verify lease file accuracy.
• Maintain Entrata data accuracy for traffic, leases, renewals, and work orders.
• Meet with Community Manager and Market Director to discuss leasing performance.
• Manage daily lease approvals and renewal updates.
• Oversee Marketing Calendar, campus outreach, promotions and ads.
• Conduct monthly market surveys and recommend pricing adjustments.
• Track leasing activity, availability, and roommate matching.
• Suggest marketing strategies and implement leasing goals plan.
• Handle administrative duties as assigned.
• Assist with move-in/move-out coordination and resident communications.
• Support planning and execution of community events and promotions.
• Assist with invoice approvals and timely expense submissions.
• Oversee social media platforms and approve community communications.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, vendors.
• Support overall operations and step into Community Manager role when needed.
