Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support residential property management in New Jersey. You will conduct resident interviews, process applications, show units, and promote property amenities in alignment with company policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Community Manager on leases, maintaining compliance with housing laws, and assisting with office operations. Evening/weekend shifts may be required as part of a busy leasing cycle.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance and the ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform recertification interviews with residents, complete paperwork and system entry.
• Track rental inquiries from referrals, walk-ins and phone contacts; log all applications.
• Show vacant units and market property amenities.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and collections efforts.
