The Michaels Organization is seeking a Community Manager to oversee on-site property management, staff leadership, leasing, budgeting, and resident relations for multi‑family housing. You will supervise staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while maintaining a safe, well‑maintained community.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in multi-family residential property management.
• Multi-family residential leasing experience required; Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation preferred.
• Accounting/Financial and Administrative background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction to all staff at the property; manage staffing, training, and safety.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff; approve leaves and schedule coverage.
• Develop and supervise schedules, allocate office work, and monitor time off.
• Train staff in safety procedures and report accidents promptly.
• Design and execute leasing campaigns, process leases and related forms; stay aware of market conditions.
• Ensure residents meet compliance/eligibility requirements and address issues.
• Assist in annual budget prep and maintain financial records for the property.
• Supervise contractors; negotiate contracts and ensure deadlines.
• Coordinate move-in/out and property inspections with staff and residents.
• Engage with residents and service providers to address issues and improve the community.
• Comply with company policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Obtain required certifications/licenses within one year; stay current on leasing laws.
