Job summary

Tailwind Group, Inc. is seeking a Community Assistant for The Quarters Gainesville, a 251-unit student housing community near the University of Florida.

This role focuses on leasing, tours, and being the first contact for prospective residents while supporting daily office operations and events. The position is full-time, with a standard schedule of Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and occasional nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail preferred.
• Current university enrollment and resident status is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first contact for prospective residents and tours.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and address inquiries.
• Conduct property tours and present leasing options.
• Support day-to-day property operations and events.
• Maintain office, model unit, and amenity spaces.
• Assist with turnover and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Open/close the office and adhere to dress code.
