Bernstein Management Corporation in Washington, DC is seeking a polished Leasing Associate to manage the Shay property in NW DC, a 245-unit residential community. You will meet with prospective residents, present apartments and amenities, and guide leasing using established tour paths.

Training is provided, with periodic performance reviews and growth opportunities within the Residential team. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong sales skills, and adherence to Fair Housing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years in sales or customer service preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective residents and present available apartments that best fit their desires and budget.
• Present apartments, amenities and overall community to prospective residents using your team's tour path.
• Answer inquiries from prospective residents and use standard sales techniques to encourage visits.
• Utilize standard sales closing methods to sell the prospective resident on available units.
• Greet prospective residents professionally and build rapport.
• Complete prospect follow-up and record activities for Fair Housing compliance.
• Assist with market surveys, gathering occupancy, rental rates and concessions.
• Partner with the team and marketing on efforts to promote the property.
• Maintain a positive and professional customer service attitude.
• Attend periodic training seminars for leasing consultants.
