Job summary

DTN Management Company is seeking a part-time Leasing Agent in Novi, MI. The role focuses on generating and converting leads, giving tours, and serving as the main contact for residents. You will collaborate with a Leasing Manager to meet community goals and uphold a positive reputation.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma and are comfortable using Yardi and Microsoft 365. Weekend rotations are required, with no standard employee benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills for educating and supporting residents.
• Motivation to learn, collaborate and improve with a can-do attitude.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, generating new leads, converting leads to future residents and influencing reputation through positive relations in all interactions.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Generate, manage and convert leads into lease agreements for new and current residents
• Have positive/professional relations with employees, future/current residents and community members
• Give property tours and serve as primary point of contact for potential and current residents
• Work as part of a team to exceed property goals

  Core Candidate Qualities:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Experience or ability to learn technology and software including Yardi and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Experience or ability to learn social media and reputation management websites including Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat
  • Motivation to learn, consistently improve, and have a can-do attitude/collaborative mindset
  • People skills required to educate, support and overcome objections of current/future residents
  • Reliable transportation to get to work daily and to conduct daily job responsibilities
