Job summary

DTN Management in Novi, Michigan is seeking a part-time Leasing Agent to generate and convert leads into leases while delivering excellent resident service.

You will conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with the Leasing Manager to achieve community goals. Prior experience in leasing or customer service is preferred, and familiarity with Yardi and Microsoft 365 helps. This role offers flexible weekend rotation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Generate, manage and convert leads into leases.

• Give property tours and be primary contact for inquiries.
• Work with team to exceed property goals.
• Assist with planning and hosting resident events.
• Utilize Yardi and MS 365 to manage leads and resident needs.
• Enter work orders and follow up for customer satisfaction.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Title: Leasing Agent (Part Time)

Reports to: Leasing Manager

Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, generating new leads, converting leads to future residents and influencing reputation through positive relations in all interactions.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Generate, manage and convert leads into lease agreements for new and current residents
• Have positive/professional relations with employees, future/current residents and community members
• Give property tours and serve as primary point of contact for potential and current residents
• Work as part of a team to exceed property goals
• Assist with planning and hosting resident events
• Use approved technology and operating software to create, manage and convert leads to leases and manage resident needs
• Enter work orders as received and follow up after completion to ensure customer satisfaction
• Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned based on site needs

Core Candidate Qualities:

• High school education or equivalent
• Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Experience or ability to learn technology and software including Yardi and Microsoft 365 tools
• Experience or ability to learn social media and reputation management websites including Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat
• Motivation to learn, consistently improve, and have a can-do attitude/collaborative mindset
• People skills required to educate, support and overcome objections of current/future residents
• Reliable transportation to get to work daily and to conduct daily job responsibilities
