Job summary

Biggs Property Management is seeking a full-time Leasing Agent for our Silver Oaks community. The role focuses on greeting prospective residents, conducting tours, and driving occupancy through effective marketing and leasing activities.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of leasing or sales experience, with strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite is preferred to support compliance and record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in residential leasing, customer service, or sales.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours.
  • Market the community to maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Execute lease agreements and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activity.
  • Collect and verify income and asset documentation for prospective residents.
  • Work with compliance and property management teams to ensure full adherence to program requirements.
  • Participate in annual recertifications and file audits.
  • Maintain strong resident relationships.
  • Assist with resident retention programs and community events.
  • Ensure positive move‑in and move‑out experience for residents.
  • Maintain leasing logs, traffic reports and weekly leasing reports.
  • Assist with property inspections and unit availability updates.
  • Ensure leasing office, model units, and tour routes are clean and presentable.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. We seek someone with a strong work ethic, confidence, and integrity. Top‑notch administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also important, as the successful candidate will interact with members of the public looking for housing.

Requirements
Qualifications-Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in residential leasing, customer service, or sales.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, or similar).
Qualifications-Preferred
  • Previous experience leasing in a Tax Credit or affordable housing community.
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, or similar).
