Job description

Join to apply for the Leasing Agent role at Bridge Property Management.

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for effectively leasing apartments within the multifamily community. In addition to leasing activities, they assist management with resident programs, administration, and retention strategies.

Essential Functions
  1. Greet, qualify, and give tours of the community, highlighting features and amenities to prospective residents.
  2. Lease apartments by closing sales, securing lease agreements, obtaining necessary information, and processing applications (including rental history, credit, and background checks).
  3. Follow up with prospects regarding their application status.
  4. Accurately input information into computer systems in a timely manner.
  5. Ensure apartments are ready for move-in on the scheduled date.
  6. Assist in collecting delinquent rents.
  7. Help plan resident events and functions.
  8. Gather market data on competitors in the area.
  9. Adhere to company policies and legal requirements, including Fair Housing laws.
  10. Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
  11. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in leasing, sales, and closing deals.
  • Competence with standard office equipment and basic computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic and adaptability.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Skills and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months in the service industry.
  • Willingness to perform occasional outside duties in various weather conditions.
