Position Overview

Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community’s revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, criminal background checks, and preparing lease and move-in packages to ensure a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in to ensure they are in move-in ready condition and coordinate with maintenance for any outstanding items.
  2. Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, and follow community policies related to concessions and specials.
  3. Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online marketing tools.
  4. Use property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, and manage resident data.
  5. Ensure community and show units meet quality standards through daily inspections and maintenance coordination.
  6. Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction via email, calls, or notes.
  7. Support lease renewal activities by preparing renewal packages and contacting renewing residents.
  8. Respond promptly and courteously to resident and client concerns, taking appropriate action.
  9. Promote a positive image of the community and management company.
