We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Specialist to join our property management team at Canopy on Central, a 706-unit community in Bedford, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leasing residential properties, leveraging strong marketing skills to attract prospective tenants. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and proven marketing experience to drive occupancy and enhance property visibility.

Your “Day To Day” At American Landmark

1. Conduct apartment tours with prospective residents
2. Complete leasing documents and collect rental deposits
3. Ensure “model” apartments are ready to be shown
4. Understand lease terms, specifications, and community policies
5. Apply sales and closing techniques
6. Stay informed about the current market and community amenities
7. Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses
8. Shop local competitor communities
9. Develop knowledge of application procedures, screening, and rental policies
10. Conduct outreach marketing at least once per week
11. Develop and maintain resident retention programs
12. Organize resident and property files
13. Handle resident requests and complaints appropriately
14. Contribute to collection of delinquent rents

Qualifying Accomplishments

1. A college degree is helpful but not required
2. Leasing experience is beneficial but not mandatory
3. Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site is preferred
4. Being bilingual is a plus
